Robert De Niro was awarded an honorary doctorate from Brown University over the weekend. The actor took the occasion to turn the commencement into a political event by attacking President Trump and his supporters.
De Niro took to the podium and essentially proved why so many Americans voted for Donald Trump. We are tired of elite liberals thumbing our nose at us. The overpaid actor said the United States was “an inspiring uplifting drama” but now has turned into “a tragic dumbass comedy.”
Why didn’t he just call us deplorables? He thinks he’s so much better than us, but he can’t even give a commencement address without insulting half of the country. He’s the dumbass!

Robert De Niro was applauded by the media in the fall before the election when he threatened to punch Donald Trump. Then Brown University honored De Niro AFTER he issued this threat. How would you have felt having to sit and listen to this blowhole at commencement?

I’m not sure why these schools hand out degrees to celebrities. Do the universities believe they will get a massive donation from them?
