There was a lot of buzz after Melania Trump asked Pope Francis to bless her rosary. Now, the First Lady’s spokeswoman has confirmed that Mrs. Trump is a Roman Catholic.
Now we know why Melania Trump led a rally with The Lord’s Prayer several months ago. She is Catholic.
Many Catholics picked up on Melania’s behavior at the Vatican and wondered if she shared the same religion. As you can see in the pictures below, she prayed and even placed flowers at a statue of the Madonna. She was clearly moved by this visit to the Vatican.
The @Potus & I are looking forward to our visit w His Holiness Pope Francis @Pontifex. This promises to be a personal & very special visit.

Melania Trump is the first Catholic to live in the White House since President Kennedy’s Administration.

You can also see President Trump and Melania’s visit to the Sistine Chapel. It’s absolutely stunning. The artwork is simply magnificent and there is nothing like it around the world!
During her visit to the Vatican, the First Lady also visited with sick children at Bambino Gesú Hospital. Mrs. Trump is fluent in Italian and was able to converse directly with the children. One boy she prayed with found out hours later that his wait for a new heart was over.
