The debut of Lana onto the main roster is getting closer, so we are all happily awaiting her arrival.

And while we’re waiting… during an NXT live event this week, Lana showed she can do the Accolade just as good as her other half!

Lana is preparing herself for her main roster debut; this included a match with Danielle Kamella. Lana won the match and insiders say that the WWE Total Divas star has made some great progress in the ring!

Of course, the thing to note here is that Lana won the match with Rusev’s submission move – the Accolade. I’m quite excited about this! Brie Bella did the same with Daniel Bryan’s kicks, so why can’t Lana use her hubby’s Accolade? Can’t wait to see this on the main stage!

Some time ago we already gave you some teasers of Lana’s impending debut on the main roster. Unfortunately, her promo’s were getting a lot of criticism, but a lot of it had to do with the production of the promo.

Despite the soft focus and weird lighting used in her promo’s, I am still quite excited about them. I think they appeal to many male WWE fans, but also to women like myself, who absolutely adore her!

About Lana

If you are not familiar with Lana yet – even though you might have seen her alongside her hubby Rusev – here is some information about the ravishing Russian you need to know!

Bio

Lana, real name Catherine Joy Perry, was born on March 24th, 1985. She is currently a WWE wrestler and valet/manager to Rusev, but she is also a model, actress, and singer! A multi-faceted talent indeed!

Even though Lana was born in Gainesville, Florida, she spent many years of her childhood in the Latvian SSR. Her father was a Christian missionary in the country, so the family followed.

Dancing

Lana certainly has an extensive background in dancing. From an early age, she wanted to be a ballet dancer like her mother and attended the Riga Choreography School. She would then dance for the Latvian National Ballet at the early age of 14.

When Lana was 17, she returned to the U.S. and danced at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Ballet Hispanico, Broadway Dance Centre, and the Martha Graham Centre of Contemporary Dance. I certainly can’t wait to see how she incorporates her dancing experience in her main roster entrance.

Lana’s Debut

Lana made her official debut several years ago at WrestleMania, but she has not been seen on the main roster since. Our sources speculate that Lana’s debut is expected before her husband Rusev returns to the ring. So, we could be expecting her very soon!

I certainly can’t wait and am almost bursting with excitement for this wrestler’s debut on the main roster. She will certainly spice things up in the SmackDown women’s roster, who suffered a great loss with the departure of Alexa Bliss. Still, the roster also gained Charlotte, so I’m curious to see how this pans out.

Are you excited about Lana’s debut? What do you expect of the Ravishing Russian?
