Hollywood liberals just can’t seem get Donald Trump out of their heads. They are obsessed. Chelsea Handler has been an outspoken critic of the president and his family. While on The View, she called for Melania to divorce her husband.
The left wing ladies on The View were discussing their excitement over their belief that the First Lady swatted the President’s hand away when he reached out to her. That isn’t what happened, but they keep dreaming of tension between the two.
During this discussion, Handler said that she hopes that Melania leaves Trump. “I have a fantasy. I just want Melania to finally come out and divorce him. She would be an American hero,” Handler said. “We would embrace her if she just said, ‘Listen, this guy’s disgusting, and I know all of his dirty secrets and I’m willing to tell everybody.’”
That’s her fantasy? The View hosts delighted in this daydream in the video below.
Handler isn’t someone that Melania is going to take advice from. She previously tried to shame the First Lady for her accent by saying Melania barely speaks English. FLOTUS speaks five languages fluently, which is four more than Handler.
Handler got considerable backlash for her comments in the video below. Many considered them immigrant shaming.
What is with Handler’s obsession with Melania Trump? If a conservative wished divorce upon the Obamas, that person would have been called a racist. But, this is business as usual in Hollywood.
