Based on the life of T.E. Lawrence in the Arabian Peninsula during the war, “Lawrence of Arabia” isn’t just considered one of the best World War I movies ever, it’s considered a classic of cinema as a whole. It was nominated for 10 Oscars and in 1963 and won the award for Best Picture.
