Electronics will soon be banned on certain U.S. flights. Cell phones and approved medical devices will be excluded, but other electronics will have to be checked with luggage rather than carried on the flight.

The ban affects flights from thirteen countries to certain U.S. cities for the next 96 hours, and is in reaction to credible intelligence reports. Laptops, cameras, tablets and the like will not be permitted in the cabin.

The US Department of Homeland Security hasn’t commented. A formal announcement is expected soon. Homeland Security is an important issue to the Trump Administration and its America-First agenda.
