We have a new contestant for Idiot of the Year! A Florida man who appears to have watched too many episodes of Gator Boys and Crocodile Hunter mistakenly thought he could catch a gator. He quickly learned that he’s a fool.
The man appears to be dressed for a round of golf. Perhaps too many beers fed his ego to the point that he thought he could capture this gator without equipment or training. Things went south pretty quickly as you can see in the video below.

This fool is lucky to be alive! How did he think this was going to end? Even if he somehow got a hold of the gator, what was he going to do next? I’m a little shocked the gator backed off and didn’t kill the man. Getting a bite or two was actually the best case scenario. This man is lucky.
