Steve Irwin Hollywood Star

It has been over 10 years since Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin’s sudden death. He had come into so many of our homes through his TV show and people grieved with his family when it was time to say goodbye.

Steve would be celebrating his 55th birthday today, so it seems like an appropriate time to look back and remember him.

Steve, of course, left his mark capturing crocodiles. He was one with these crocs when he was trying to relocate them. He understood how they would react and he used his own instincts.

People around the world would turn into his show to see this enthusiastic Australian wrestle with man-eating crocodiles in order to save them. It was unlike anything we had seen on TV and we were hooked!

Take a look at the video below of Steve catching crocodiles and you’ll quickly remember why were were so enamored with this man!

Steve appeared to be fearless. He put his life on the line to help highlight the beauty of these animals to promote conservation and appreciation of the species.

One of the wildest videos was one where he didn’t get bit but rather licked by the most deadliest snake on earth. He put his face right on the ground by it in the video below. He didn’t seem to be afraid at all. He just respected nature.

Steve’s 13 year-old-son Robert was on The Tonight Show this week. People immediately saw how much Robert is like Steve. His expressions and phrasing are just like Steve’s!

The teen has the same enthusiasm for animals as his dad. As you can see in the video below, he’s a real chip off the old block.

Robert appears to be following in his dad’s footsteps. He’s so excited about the animals and isn’t afraid. Perhaps we’ll be seeing a lot more Robert in the future.
