OK, this is one of the saddest stories I’ve ever heard. But I think I feel extra bad about it because I was laughing so hard while writing it!
We all know online dating can be dangerous. That’s because you never know who you’re going to end up with.
The man in this story thought he was going to meet lovely woman for some “quality time” at a motel. It all went downhill after that.
Here’s what The Register-Guard of Oregon reports:
A Mapleton man who had hoped finally to meet the woman he had found via an online dating site instead found himself alone, nude and robbed at a Springfield motel Tuesday morning — having never met her.
The man told Springfield police that his Tinder date allegedly stole all of his clothing, his wallet and his cellphone while he was in the shower.
And that’s the naked truth. You can’t trust people you meet online.
Moms always tell their sons to be careful who they give their heart to or it will get broke. In this case, it wasn’t his heart that was broken. It was his bank account, and pride.
