Green Wisconsin Meteor

People in Wisconsin and Illinois got quite a surprise early Monday morning when they saw a flash of green light dance across the sky.

At about 1:30 am, the fireball was captured on radar in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Low frequency sounds were even captured 600 miles away in Manitoba!

Check out the video below taken while someone was driving. How would you react if you saw that?

Scientists believe it was a meteor and that the remaining chunks of matter thankfully ended up in Lake Michigan.

The news report below has more information and additional video.

If I saw that without any advance notice, I’d probably be freaking out assuming the worst! Thank God everyone is okay! This could have ended disastrously.

Share this if you are glad everyone is okay!
