Dolly Parton, Vince Gill and Keith Urban Nail This Classic George Jones Song

George Jones’ “He Stopped Loving Her Today” is often billed as one of the best country songs of all times. Because George’s performance was so stellar, it’s a hard song for someone else to recreate the same magic.

But, Dolly Parton stepped up the plate and delivered a stellar performance along with Vince Gill and Keith Urban. The crowd certainly enjoyed hearing it at a benefit for The Country Music Museum and Hall of Fame.

Watch the video below and let us know what you think about this performance.

Dolly Parton is the consummate performer. She engages her crowd and she sings like an angel. Vince Gill and Keith Urban make the perfect back up singers for her on this song. I thought it was terrific!
