I love Willie Nelson. There might not be a more distinct voice in all of country.

He’s recorded literally hundreds of song, each has that signature Willie twang that makes him such a beloved singer and songwriter.

But he also sings gospel, like “Were You There When They Crucified My Lord?”

Willy covered the song during a televised tribute to the late and great Johnny Cash, who originated the song.

While Willie is notorious for his weed smoking and long hair, he has a long history of playing great country and gospel music that tugs at the soul!
