You never know when a hero will arrive to help you. When Mary Mingo Williams ran out of gas, she was in need of some help. As she pushed her car out of the way of traffic, rude drivers honked at her.
Then some heroes in uniform showed up.
She posted on Facebook about the ordeal. Mary says a “platoon of Army men” came out of nowhere to help her. They pushed her car to the gas station where she encountered another man who wanted to help.
I just ran out of gas coming from my job at Savannah and 25th Street the light changed and the car stopped. I got out…

I love this story! Of course those of us related to soldiers understand that it is in their nature to help. I think my favorite part is that she didn’t see them coming. They just showed up as if they were angels!
I’m glad to see these soldiers get the praise they deserve as Mary’s post goes viral.
