Carrie Underwood isn’t your typical megastar. She never shies away from her strong Christian faith. 50,000 Attendees at Passion 2017 got to see this firsthand in a surprise performance from Underwood.
There is something particularly telling about her performance of “Lift Your Head Weary Sinner” with David Crowder. Despite being such a widely celebrated star, she is happy to sing backup as you can see in the video below.
She is gracious enough to step back from the spotlight.
Underwood rounded out Session One of Passion 2017 by singing her chart topping hit “There’s Something In The Water,” which you can see below.
How fantastic that she embraces her faith so publicly and shares it with tens of thousands of Christians! There aren’t many stars today that put it all out there like Carrie Underwood!
