Bus North Memphis

A school bus was attacked outside an elementary school in Memphis, Tennessee.

Police are currently on the hunt for the man.

RT is reporting that local media originally reported that students were on board the bus during the time, but a Shelby County School District spokesman said there were no students on the bus during the shooting.

WMCA Action News 5 is reporting that police did report that children were on board the bus, but Shelby County Schools is denying there were students on the bus.

There are also reports that it might not have been gunfire but a rock that struck the windshield of the bus.

 

The incident occurred in the Klondike neighborhood on Breedlove Street, near Vollentine Avenue.
