Tyler McQuillen has a story to tell his grandchildren someday. The 22 year old was attacked by a Great White Shark while spearfishing. The shark bit his foot and then came after his head.
During the attack, Tyler dropped his spear gun. Somehow he was able to retrieve it. He used it to get the shark to leave. Tyler captured the whole event on his GoPro. Highlights of the attack and Tyler’s reaction can be seen in the video below.
That’s rather remarkable. Tyler is lucky that he didn’t become fish food. What are the chances that he’d survive after being bitten and dropping his spear gun?
