Bonanza was on television for 14 seasons. It was such a popular show for so many years that it was hard to escape it. Everyone knew who the Cartwrights were.
After the series was over, it was revisited with a made for TV movie Bonanza: The Next Generation. This clip shows Hoss’ son learning about how his dad and Uncle Joe were raising rabbits to make fur coats. But, Hoss got too attached to the bunnies. This put Joe in a tough spot – literally.

Boy, I miss those classic TV shows. Those actors and writers brought a lot of humanity and comedy into our lives without being crass.
