Benjamin Jordan and his wife thought they had found a great babysitter for their 7 month old son, Finn. They even ran a background check on Alexis Khan.
But, then their black lab Killian began acting completely out of character when Khan would show up. He would get between the babysitter and Finn and growl.
This very odd behavior from an otherwise perfect dog gave the Jordans some pause. So, they left an iPhone laying out one day to record what happened while they weren’t home. They were stunned to hear their babysitter slapping and shaking their son in their absence.
Finn checked out fine at the hospital, but things didn’t work out so well for Khan. She was sentenced to three years and her name will be on a child abuser registry for the rest of her life, preventing her from working with children ever again.
Killian was definitely a hero in this situation as you can see in the video below. The Jordans wouldn’t have had a clue that anything was amiss unless their dog alerted them.

This proves once again that dogs are important parts of our families. This child’s life may very well have been saved by the family dog. Bravo to Killian!
