Elementary Cafeteria

The War on Christians has reached a new low after a Sheriff was sent after a 7 year old boy for having Bible verses in his lunch box.

Christina Zavala puts a Bible verse in her son’s lunch everyday. He often reads this to the children sitting at his lunch table. Some of the children asked for copies, so Mrs. Zavala sent them in. This was seen as something so serious that the California public school he attends sent a sheriff to his home! Even when the mom stopped sending in copies, the school didn’t even want the seven year old to read the Bible verses his mother sent in his lunch!

Desert Rose Elementary School in Palmdale doesn’t want the Bible being mentioned by first graders – even in the cafeteria. School administrators are so threatened by this that they sent the force of the law after the first grader. While the sheriff was apparently friendly while issuing the school’s warning, it is an assault on the child’s First Amendment rights.

The school district now has a legal fight on its hands as The Liberty Counsel is representing the Zavalas in this First Amendment battle. This is a new front on the War on Christians as they are now targeting a seven year old for having Bible verses in his lunch box as you can see in the video below.

When will common sense return to our schools? We are so worried about inclusivity with everyone except for people of faith – and in this case youngsters of faith!

Please share this to warn others of this assault on a seven year old’s First Amendment rights and religious beliefs.
