Meatloaf

Rock Legend Meatloaf collapsed on stage last night at the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton while singing “I’d Do Anything for Love.”

The Texas-born singer collapsed around 9:40 p.m. and lay motionless on the stage.

Watch:

This isn’t the first time he has collapsed on stage. Meatloaf collapsed twice before in 2003 and 2011. He also suffers from Wolff-Parksinon-White Syndrome which causes an irregular heartbeat.

Thankfully, he is in stable condition and is recovering well after suffering from severe dehydration which caused the collapse.

Meatloaf’s representative issued the following statement:

He was admitted to a nearby hospital to undergo routine tests. His vital signs are stable and normal – he’s responsive and recovering well. He extends his heartfelt thanks for everyone’s support and well wishes, and is expecting a speedy and full recovery. Any concert postponements / rescheduled dates will be announced at a later time. Thank you for your support and understanding.

We wish Meatloaf well and hope to see him back on stage telling us about the Paradise by the Dashboard Light!

Share to wish Meatloaf well on his recovery!
