A lot of outrage is being directed at a North Carolina Dollar Tree after an employee threw a veteran out of the store because he had his service dog with him.

Joshua Schutt has PTSD and a traumatic brain injury as a result from serving as an Army specialist. He depends upon his German Shepard named Hero. He was shocked when the Dollar Tree employee called police to throw them out!

This is no way to treat our veterans! Why would anyone treat Schutt and his dog this way? Dollar Tree is doing a dance around the situation, but inevitably, it is their employee who called police on a disabled veteran as you can see in the video below.

Dollar Tree issued a statement saying, “Please know Dollar Tree is committed to allowing customers to bring their service animals to all areas of the store where customers are normally permitted.”

Hopefully they will educate their employees because this is a downright awful way to treat a veteran.
