Kindness seems to be infectious. One kind act inspires others and apparently this phenomenon happens in the animal world also.
Ed Gernon rescued a feral dog. Rex was an aggressive dog who hunted to survive. Just a month after the adoption, Rex became a rescuer as well. He saved a dying baby hummingbird.
The hummingbird was nursed back to health by Gernon and Rex. She was hand fed every 15 minutes. Her name is Hummer and the three have an amazingly close relationship. Watch the video below – It’s pretty stunning to see such an odd relationship between this trio of rescuers.
