Selena Gomez Was Asked About God – Her Response Left Everyone Speechless

Actress and singer Selena Gomez recently ruffled a few feathers in Hollywood with her bold statement on Christianity.

Gomez was recently asked who her favorite Christian artist is. She gushed over Brooke Fraser. “I love Brooke Fraser. She’s my favorite, and I have the pleasure of knowing her, and she is incredible. I love Hillsong as well. I love all of their worship. I’m a sucker for all of it,” she said. “And the new Young & Free is so good; I got to hear some of it before it came out.”

Gomez is currently playing the part of a vampire named Mavis in “Hotel Transylvania 2.” Some Christians may not like the film because of its supernatural aspects.

To that, Gomez said, “Now for me I respect people (and) whatever boundaries they set for themselves. So I’m more lenient towards that. I am Christian, so I understand. For me it’s just ultimately about what it is.”

She pointed out, however, that the film focuses on the importance of love and family.

She said, “It’s a beautiful movie, it’s got a great message. There’s not much to really dissect but it’s about family, that’s what it really is. Whatever it is or however we’re telling it, that’s the truth.”
