The world was stunned on Saturday when Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia suddenly died while staying at a ranch in Texas. Days later, Barack Hussein Obama has disrespected the legendary judge in the worst way.
According to Daily Mail, Obama’s White House has announced that the president will not be attending Scalia’s funeral on Saturday.
“I can tell you that Vice President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden will attend Justice Scalia’s funeral at the Basilica on Saturday,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said.
The president and first lady will instead pay their respects to Scalia privately as he lays in repose at the high court. It is not immediately clear why the Obamas aren’t going to the formal funeral, but it seems obvious that they are trying to snub Scalia and dishonor his memory.
“I don’t have a sense of what the president’s plans are for Saturday,” Earnest replied after a reporter suggested it would be disrespectful for Obama to go golfing, which could be exactly what he’s doing.
It’s disgusting that Obama can’t even make the time to attend the funeral of a legendary Supreme Court Justice. He should be a big enough man to look passed the fact that Scalia disagreed with him on everything and instead look at the judge as a man who lived a great life that deserves respect.
Then again, Obama has never been one to take the high road.
