I have dogs and our walks are very short during cold days for this reason. Their paws will freeze up and I sometimes have to carry them home or am forced to heat up their paws with my bare hands.
If you have ever tried to put boots on your dog to combat this problem, you understand the struggle the dogs in the video face. It’s not easy to walk for the first time with footwear.
A Vancouver family documented the struggle their dog had with adjusting to winter boots. Barkley tore his first set of boots to pieces. The second pair lasted a bit longer as you can see in the video below.
