Disgraced comedian Bill Cosby of 1980’s blockbuster sitcom “The Cosby Show” looks nearly unrecognizable in a chilling new mugshot from prison that was released this week.
In fact, Cosby appeared so infirm in the image that some rushed to his defense on Twitter, saying that they feel sorry for the comedian despite the despicable crimes for which he was convicted.
Bill Cosby’s New Prison Mugshot Comes Out
Yahoo News reported that the 83 year-old Bill Cosby, who is serving three to ten years in prison for indecent assault, has a new mugshot on file with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
In the disturbing image, Cosby can be seen with a deranged grin on his face as he looks down while wearing a mask around his neck that is befitting of the COVID-19 era.
Cosby’s gray hair is also wild and unruly, making him look crazier than ever as he continues his prison sentence.

Bill Cosby’s Prison Mugshot Had Twitter Running To His Defense
Bill Cosby started trending on Twitter today as his new mugshot made the rounds.
In fact, the photo of the 83-year-old is so jarring that some fans rushed to his defense. “Free Bill” even picked up steam.
Several said that the photo makes them feel sorry for him:
That mugshot of Bill Cosby tears me apart as a black man. In that moment, I felt like a little boy again just reminiscing on how the Cosby’s made us believe there was a different echelon of black families.
Prayers for our brother, Bill in that cage!

The kneejerk reaction to defend Cosby sparked some fiery debate.
His sympathizers were hit with reminders that Cosby is in prison for sexually assaulting Andrea Constand, who testified that the comedian drugged and raped her in 2004.
Moreover, Constand is just one of over sixty women to accuse Cosby of similar sex crimes.
Others Say He Deserves No Sympathy
“The shade room posted Bill Cosby’s mugshot today and the comments were filled with people saying Free Bill,” one social media user tweeted.
“Do y’all ever think of how the victims feel? This man drugged and raped them and now they have to get on the internet and see thousands of strangers saying free him. Smh [shake my head].”

When women report rape and sexual assault, y’all are so quick to victim blame, call them liars and show them no sympathy.
All it took was one mugshot of Bill Cosby with a bad hair day for y’all to feel sorry for him.

I don’t care if Bill Cosby is elderly or somebody’s grandpa, he’s a serial rapist. I don’t care how long ago it was, he’s pure evil. Rapists deserve to die alone and ostracized in prison. I don’t care who’s mad. I sympathize with survivors. Not sex predators.

Bill Cosby Has No Remorse
Whether Bill Cosby looks old or frail in his mugshot has no bearing on his crime or its punishment.
“The Cosby Show” patriarch has maintained his innocence from the start of this entire scandal even after being accused of assault by dozens of women.
Despite his advanced age and failing health, Cosby has defiantly said that he will refuse to show any remorse when he is up for parole next year.
He stands by his story even if it means he’ll end up serving his entire ten year sentence in prison.
“They’re not going to hear me say that I have remorse,” Cosby said last year. “I was there. I don’t care what group of people come along and talk about this when they weren’t there. They don’t know.”

Cosby is kept in the general population of the prison, where he is known as Inmate No. NN7687.
Behind bars, the former sitcom star is helped out by his fellow inmates, who give him assistance in getting around because he is legally blind.
Bill Cosby’s next appeal is scheduled to be heard by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on December 1.
Given the evidence against him and his complete lack of remorse, however, it’s unlikely he’ll be getting out of prison anytime soon.
Good riddance.
