Conservatives across America got a welcome surprise this week with Tim Allen of “Home Improvement” fame defying the liberal Hollywood establishment to narrate an ad for John James, Michigan’s Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate.
Hollywood has been so overtaken with radical liberals that supporting a Republican in any way is considered risky to one’s career.
So it was refreshing to be reminded where America’s favorite handyman stands on things.
“Last Man Standing” Star Tim Allen Narrates GOP Ad
Michigan: our values, our people, our home. That’s what I’m running to protect. We take care of each other & it's time for a leader who will take care of us & put people before politics. We are blessed to live in the greatest state in this nation.

The ad, which was released on Wednesday and is titled “Together,” includes breathtakingly beautiful aerial shots of Michigan as Allen speaks and soothing music plays.
“Michigan, a place where people respect each other, love each other,” Allen says in the commercial. “Michigan, that’s John James, defending our country, offering a healing hand, creating jobs that matter.”

Of course, Allen wasn’t the only Hollywood star lending a hand in the heated Michigan race.
The positive tone of Allen’s Republican ad is a stark contrast to the negative vibe of a Democratic Michigan ad that was also released this week.
Jeff Daniels Narrates Ad For Michigan Democrat
Emmy-winning actor Jeff Daniels narrates the Democrat’s ad “America Needs Michigan” as ominous music plays and Michigan workers are shown at farms and factories.
“People talk a lot about Midwestern values. Here in Michigan we live those values. Things like honesty, decency, respect,” Daniels said in the ad.
This commercial quickly devolves into Daniels attacking President Donald Trump without mentioning him by name.
“Here in Michigan, we don’t believe in paying off porn stars to keep their mouths shut about who we really are. And we don’t think much of a man who disrespects women,” Daniels narrates as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is shown.
“In fact, we don’t think he’s much of a man at all.”
The ad ends with Jeff Daniels saying, “I grew up in Michigan. Lived here most of my life. Still do. I voted for Joe Biden.”
When comparing the ads narrated by Tim Allen vs. Jeff Daniels, it’s easy to see which party is focused on the beauty of our great country.
And also which is more focused on the divisions they can use to tear America apart.
Tim Allen Regularly Defies Liberal Hollywood
Allen is one of the few people in Hollywood who has been brave enough to defy the liberal establishment at times.
His long-running sitcom “Last Man Standing” is one of the only shows left on television that dares to poke fun at liberals.
Allen once told Entertainment Weekly that he had supported Ohio’s former Republican Governor John Kasich for president in 2016.
“Politically I’m kind of an anarchist if you see my stand-up. I’m for responsible government that actually does what we pay them to do,” Allen said at the time.
“I’ve worked different jobs and I’ve had a colorful past and I pay a lot in taxes. I wish we got more for our money.”
If only there were more celebrities in Hollywood with a head on their shoulders like Tim Allen!
