A cross country running competition got a scary surprise while running through a field. A fleeing herd of deer was running their way and the group tried their best to dodge the bounding Bambis. One runner was pretty unlucky.

Nature is frightening. And these runners learned that in a frightening way. What is shocking here is how fast the deer are running. I knew deer could be fast, but I had no idea they were THIS fast.

Pretty intense. Nature is to be feared and respected. Next time I see a pack of deer heading my way, I’ll just try to run a little faster!
