Earlier this week, we reported that Pamela Anderson had accused Tim Allen of flashing his penis at her decades ago on the set of their sitcom “Home Improvement,” an allegation that he vehemently denied. Now, Anderson is defending Allen from the backlash he’s received since she made her claim.

‘He Had No Bad Intentions’
“Tim is a comedian, it’s his job to cross the line. I’m sure he had no bad intentions,” Anderson said in a text message to the press, according to Page Six.
“Times have changed, though,” she continued. “I doubt anyone would try that post #MeToo. It’s a new world.”
Anderson, 55, accused Allen, 69, of flashing her back in 1991 in an excerpt from her memoir “Love, Pamela,” which hits stores on Tuesday.
“On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe,” she wrote.
“He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath,” Anderson added. “He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.”

Anderson had posed naked for Playboy Magazine in 1989, meaning that many people had seen her naked by the time she appeared on 23 episodes of “Home Improvement” from 1991-1992. Allen, however, was quick to deny that he ever flashed her.
“No, it never happened,” he said. “I would never do such a thing.”

Do you believe Tim Allen really exposed himself to Pamela Anderson on the set of Tool Time in 1991 or is this just another attack on a conservative actor?

Anderson Responds
Anderson fired back by saying that she has no “ill will” towards Allen.
“This true story is just one of many surreal and uncomfortable situations I learned to navigate,” she told Vanity Fair. “My book goes into how it made me feel over the course of my life and, in this case, my career. I have no ill will toward Tim. But like the rest, it should never have happened.”
Things got even worse for Allen when a blooper clip surfaced in which he seemingly flashed Patricia Richardson, who played his wife on “Home Improvement.”

Richardson immediately came to Allen’s defense, saying that he was wearing boxer shorts under the kilt when he lifted it up, meaning that she never saw his penis.
“People ask me what was under the kilt when he flashed me, he was well dressed under there,” Richardson explained to TMZ. “I was just shocked that he lifted the kilt, not by a man in boxer shorts.”
Anderson’s Past #MeToo Comments
Anderson referencing the #MeToo movement in her latest statement about Allen is ironic, given how critical she’s been of it in the past.
“I think this feminism can go too far,” Anderson said back in 2018, according to Entertainment Tonight. “I’m a feminist, but I think that this third wave of feminism is a bore. I think it paralyzes men.”
“I think that this #MeToo movement is a bit too much for me,” she continued. “I’m sorry, I’ll probably get killed for saying that.”

It’s unfortunate that Anderson can hurl an allegation of this magnitude at Allen without having any proof to back it up. Five years ago she was suggesting that the #MeToo movement had gone too far, yet now many would say that she’s using it to her advantage, just to sell books at Allen’s expense.
Sad!
