Fans have been praying for legendary singer and actress Olivia Newton-John ever since she was diagnosed with cancer for the third time. Fans started to worry about Newton-John, 70, when reports came out that she was on death’s door, but thankfully, the Grease star released a video on Wednesday to say that these reports are false and that she is doing just fine!

“I just want to say that the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote, and I’m doing great,” Newton-John said in the video, according to New York Daily News. “I want to wish all of you the happiest, healthiest 2019 as possible.”

This comes after various outlets claimed that Newton-John was “clinging to life” and did not have long to live. She has been battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer since May of 2017, and she announced back in the fall that she is undergoing radiation therapy and using natural remedies to fight her cancer. She has already beaten cancer twice before, the first time after she was diagnosed in 1992, and the second after she was again diagnosed in 2013.

“There are other people out there doing much, much worse than me,” she said in September. “And I’m very a privileged person and I’m very aware of that. . . . I have nothing to really complain about.”

If anyone can beat cancer for the third time, it’s Olivia Newton-John! She’s far too young to be going through this, and all we can do is hope and pray that she can beat this thing once again. It comes as a huge relief to the millions of us who love her that she is still doing fine at this time and that she still seems to have a lot of fight in her.

Newton-John has been encouraging her fans to support the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Research Centre, which she founded in Melbourne, Australia back in 2008. You can check out her organization here!
