Former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and PGA golfing legend Jack Nicklaus were bombarded by bitter liberals lashing out on social media after they defied the leftwing mob with their endorsement of President Donald Trump.
Cutler took to his Instagram Story on Thursday morning to post Nicklaus’ lengthy endorsement of Trump, which the 80-year-old golfer had released on Wednesday night.
The trigger: Cutler posted the PGA champ’s entire statement, captioning it, “SIGN ME UP.”

PGA Champ Jack Nicklaus Endorses Donald Trump
In his endorsement, Nicklaus wrote that he has known many presidents over the years, saying that they were all good people who “all loved their country” and “all believed in the American dream.”
However, in all his years fraternizing with presidents, Nicklaus says he has never seen one have to deal with all that Trump has.
“I have had the privilege over the last 3½ years to get to know our current President a little more as his term has progressed,” he wrote.
“I have been very disappointed at what he’s had to put up with from many directions, but with that, I have seen a resolve and a determination to do the right thing for our country.”
“He has delivered on his promises,” Nicklaus added. “He’s worked for the average person. In my opinion, he has been more diverse than any President I have seen and has tried to help people from all walks of life—equally.”
Jack Nicklaus Mentions Trump’s Twitter In Endorsement
The legendary golfer went on to acknowledge that he understands why some have a problem with things that Trump says or tweets.
But he also pointed out that this is “not a personality contest.”
“You might not like the way our President says or tweets some things—and trust me, I have told him that!—but I have learned to look past that and focus on what he’s tried to accomplish.
This is not a personality contest; it’s about patriotism, policies and the people they impact. His love for America and its citizens, and putting his country first, has come through loud and clear. How he has said it has not been important to me. What has been important are his actions. Now, you have the opportunity to take action.”
Jack Niklaus concluded by saying that he has already voted for Trump.
He then urged others to do the same so that we can avoid turning into a “socialist America.”
Hate Mob Attacks Jack Nicklaus And Jay Cutler
Nicklaus has been hit with his fair share of backlash today from bitter liberals who can’t stand to see someone who thinks differently about politics than they do.
How nice that Jack Nicklaus has “learned to look past” racism, sexism, misogyny, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, ableism and the deaths of nearly 230K Americans…
And by nice, I mean privileged… https://t.co/xff8U9EQvH

I just read this endorsement letter for @realDonaldTrump by @jacknicklaus. It is stunningly shameful & despicable. Jack brushes aside the bigotry of Trump and "looks past" the things he tweets. What a major disappointment. Nicklaus accepts his lies & immoral acts far too easily.

Backlash Ratchets Up After Jay Cutler Shares Jack Nicklaus’ Statement
The hate mob turned things up a notch after Jay Cutler shared Jack Nicklaus’ endorsement.
As an undecided voter who was waiting to see which candidate Jack Nicklaus & Jay Cutler were going to endorse today was huge for me.

Much of the most below the belt backlash, however, was reserved for Jay Cutler.
The ex NFL player’s decision to repost Nicklaus’ statement with his support really set people off.
Jay Cutler being MAGA doesn’t surprise me. I would be surprised if more white NFL players aren’t.
A bunch of white men typically from the south or Midwest playing a sport that predicated on aggression and physical harm. Where white players are often given “smarter” positions.

A few voices spoke out to defend the athletes, but they were largely outnumbered.

This Is Unfortunately Very Typical Of The Left
This is a prime example of why it’s impossible to trust the polls these days.
Many Trump supporters choose to stay silent and quietly vote rather than go public with their support of the president, only to be hit with the most belittling of attacks from hateful leftists.
Some outlets refer to them as the “silent majority”. We’ll find out on very soon just how large their numbers are.
Jack Nicklaus and Jay Cutler’s endorsement of Trump should not be offensive to anyone.
After all, this is America. Are we not free to choose for whom we vote? Do we not have a bi-partisan political system for a reason?
Yet, any celebrity who dares to publicly support Trump risks being “cancelled” for it as if they’d said something racist and hateful.
Democrats think they have this election in the bag.
But, if Trump wins on Tuesday, they can look back at incidents like this and realize that they’re the ones who created the silent majority that got the president reelected.
