Fans of country music star Morgan Wallen are taking a stand for him in the wake of his N-word scandal by putting up billboards that say “Enough is Enough” all over the city of Nashville, Tennessee.

The billboards are meant to protest Wallen’s ban from the CMT, which take place tonight.

Billboard Defending Wallen Pop Up

“The fans are speaking. Enough is Enough,” state the seven billboards, which were funded by fans of Wallen’s, according to Daily Mail. “Music industry, we want to be heard!”

The billboards also feature Wallen’s signature mullet, and display that they were paid for by “Darleen Ingram and loyal fans.”

In addition, the billboards include a bible reference to Mark 11:25, which is a passage that states, “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Wallen’s N-Word Scandal

Wallen’s “loyal fans” decided to put these billboards up after the country music star was targeted by cancel culture for dropping the N-word in a video that was captured on January 31.

“Take care of this p**** a** n*****’ and ‘take care of this p**** a** mother******,” Wallen could be heard saying in the video as he returned to his home in Nashville following a night out with friends.

Though Wallen issued an apology for saying the racial slur, the damage was already done.

He was swiftly suspended from his record label contract, dropped by his talent agency, banned from attending the Billboard Music Awards, and pulled from the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Despite the fact that he was one of the top country music stars in the past year, Wallen also did not receive any nominations for the CMT Music Awards.

However, not everything has been bad news for Wallen recently.

His album “Dangerous: The Double Album,” which came out in January, saw a massive surge in sales in the days after the scandal.

In fact, it was No.1 for a record-breaking 10 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.

Fans Have Put Up Billboards For Wallen Before

This is not the first time fans have tried to defend Wallen by putting up billboards.

In April, billboards that read “His Fan’s Choice: Entertainer of the Year” popped up in Nashville before the ACM Awards. Those billboards were also funded by Darlene Ingram and “824 Loyal Fans.”

What Wallen did was wrong, but he has owned up to his mistake and has been punished more than enough.

Perhaps his fans said it best, and enough really is enough.
