Country music star Maren Morris is showing the world what a liberal snowflake she really is, saying that she may skip the CMA Awards in November because of her feud with Brittany and Jason Aldean sparked by differing political views.

Morris Doesn’t ‘Feel Comfortable’ Attending CMAs

Morris, 32, told the Los Angeles Times that she doesn’t “feel comfortable” attending the awards show, despite scoring one nomination, after she went at it with the Aldeans online over politics and gender.

“I’m very honored that my record is nominated. But I don’t know if I feel [at] home there right now,” she said. â€śSo many people I love will be in that room, and maybe I’ll make a game-time decision and go.”

Morris’ record “Humble Quest” has been nominated for Album of the Year, while Jason is nominated for Musical Event of the Year for his Carrie Underwood duet “If I Didn’t Love You.” Morris made it clear in her latest interview that she may not be up for being in the same room as him and his wife.

“I don’t feel comfortable going,” Morris continued. “Some nights are fun. Others I’m just crawling out of my skin. I’m not good at those events because I’m awkward. But this time I kind of feel peaceful at the notion of not going.”

Morris has been feuding with the Aldeans over comments Brittany made last month that offended the “woke” Left in a caption for a makeup tutorial that she posted to Instagram.

“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” she wrote. “I love this girly life.” Morris condemned Brittany’s remarks in a tweet that read, “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

Morris Calls Brittany ‘Insurrection Barbie’

Entertainment Weekly reported that when Brittany went on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show earlier this month, the host described Morris as a “lunatic” and “fake country music singer.” Morris then released a t-shirt with the words “lunatic country music person” emblazoned on it.

“I don’t think I lost any fans over this,” Morris said of the feud in her new interview. “I’ve been very clear from the get-go. It sucks when artists stay quiet, stay quiet, stay quiet, and then they finally reach their breaking point and have to say something because something is so unjust or disgusting. And then they lose half their crowd because they stayed quiet.”

“I try to tell my husband this, because he’s still building: Let people know where you stand,” she added. “The ones who don’t get it will fall away, but the ones that stick with you will know what they’re contributing to.”

Brittany Stands By Her Comments

As for Brittany, she’s stood by her initial statement on gender, telling Carlson that she was “extremely surprised” by the backlash.

“I never thought that there was anything wrong with [my statement],” she said. “I think I’m advocating for children. … I think when you’re older, if you choose to make those decisions, by all means. But children are too young, not mature enough to make those decisions.”

It’s so typical of a leftist that Morris isn’t afraid to bash someone like Brittany online, but when it comes to actually facing her in the same room, she doesn’t “feel comfortable.” How typical of a left-wing snowflake!

We hope that Morris follows through with skipping the CMAs, and that the Aldeans enjoy their big night!
