Comedic actor Jack Black just became the latest Hollywood star to flaunt his Trump Derangement Syndrome when he announced that he is taking his rock band Tenacious D on a tour of swing states to help “save the world from Trumpian destruction.” The announcement came just days after the “Jumanji” actor endorsed Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in the 2020 presidential election.
Jack Black Announces Swing State Tour
On Monday, Jack Black and his musical partner Kyle Gass announced “The Purple Nurple Tour — Twisted Hard to the Left”. The Tenacious D tour kicks off in September in Iowa before traveling through the swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina.
“[Trump is] the most divisive, corrupt and dangerous President in the modern history of this country, and we simply cannot stand for another four years of his administration! Now is the time to elect a REAL leader!” the two entertainers said in a statement, according to Loudwire.

Obviously, choosing a name like “The Purple Nurple Tour” tells you everything you need to know about their political campaign.
Swing State Votes
“In 2016, six states were decided by 2 percentage points or less, and ten states were decided by 4 percentage points or less. Swing states played a pivotal role in the outcome of that election, and they will again in 2020,” Black and Gass continued.
“Knowing that, we looked at each other and agreed: just like the tale of Post-Apocalypto, it is time for Tenacious D to RIDE and help save the world from Trumpian destruction. With great rock comes great responsibility.”
So a Hollywood actor and his guitarist sidekick actually think that their comedic rock band can help “save the world”? The two expect to single-handedly turn the tides of the 2020 election just by performing in swing states.
That takes a special level of narcissism, even for a Hollywood liberal!
Jack Black Endorses Elizabeth Warren
50-year-old Jack Black came under fire last week for how he announced his Elizabeth Warren endorsement. The actor posted a photo of himself wearing a shirt depicting Warren’s face on Mount Rushmore.
Black later deleted the post after leftists attacked him. They found the shirt “offensive” given Mount Rushmore’s history with Native Americans.
“I respected their wishes,” Black told The Hollywood Reporter of deleting the post.. “I think Elizabeth Warren would be a great president. She’s the smartest candidate in the race. She speaks with the most clarity regarding the big structural change needed to make government work for everyone. I endorse her campaign and hope to be celebrating her victory in November!”
Yes, even Mount Rushmore is considered “offensive” in the eyes of the left these days. We can only imagine what American symbol that they will “cancel” next.
In the end, Jack Black is just another Hollywood elitist so full of himself that he actually thinks he can sway the presidential election. But he’s dead wrong.
No voter with half a brain is going to have their minds changed by some Trump-bashing at a Tenacious D concert. It’s just not going to happen.
Black might as well just stay in his liberal California bubble, and not waste his time with this ridiculous tour.
