The emotional trailer for the new show “Dog’s Most Wanted,” which is set to star Duane “Dog” Chapman and his late wife Beth, was just released to the public, and it has fans everywhere in tears.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the show is set to debut on September 4 at 9pm on WGN America. It will feature Dog and Beth teaming up with the Dirty Dozen to chase fugitives and bring them to justice. The reality show will also chronicle Beth’s battle with cancer, which she tragically lost on June 26 at the age of 51.

“My wife is, was, and always will be the heart and soul of ‘Dog’s Most Wanted,’” Dog said in a statement. “Beth wanted nothing more than for the show to go on, and I am so proud of the legacy that she left behind. She lived and died for this show, and she would be so proud of how hard we worked bringing these criminals to justice.”

Dog and Beth starred on the A&E reality show “Dog The Bounty Hunter” from 2004-2012, earning themselves legions of fans in the process. They then starred on CMT’s 2013-2015 spin-off “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” before returning to A&E in 2017 with the two-hour special, “Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives.”

New Trailer Takes Emotional Turn

The trailer for the new show gets emotional at times, as it shows Dog and Beth talking bluntly about her cancer fight.

“I love her, and I’ll do anything for her,” Dog says at one point.

“Once you find out that it’s an incurable lung cancer, there’s no stage 5,” Beth says, adding later, “If I’m going to die, I’m going to die in my boots.”

Beth was working on the show right up to the very end, and throughout her entire cancer battle, she inspired fans with her strength and grace. She will be dearly missed, and there will never be anyone else like her. Rest in peace, Beth Chapman.
