Last week, we reported that Jon Gruden had resigned from his job as head coach of the Oakland Raiders after controversial emails from his past resurfaced. Now, it’s been revealed that Jon Gruden slammed “woke” former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in those emails.

Backstory: NFL’s Hypocrisy Is Showing – Gruden Pays While Others Still Play

Jon Gruden Rips Colin Kaepernick In Leaked Emails

Fox News reported that in an email exchange with former Washington Football Team president Bruce Allen, Gruden specifically talked about Kaepernick taking a knee during the national anthem to protest police brutality and racial injustice on August 28, 2016.

“They suspend people for taking amino acids they should cut this f–k,” Gruden wrote.

When Allen expressed his “outrage” over the issue, Gruden replied by saying “good for you.”

Gruden also called for Eric Reid, who was one of Kaepernick’s biggest supporters in the NFL, to be fired.

Jon Gruden ‘Surprised’ Colin Kaepernick Didn’t Find Another Team

During a breakfast at an owners meeting in 2018, Gruden reportedly said that he was “surprised” that Kaepernick wasn’t in camp with at least one football team.

“I think there’s a lot of intrigue there,” he said. “His performance on the field wasn’t very good, on tape. I think, Robert Griffin, a rookie of the year, [I’m] surprised he’s out there. Tim Tebow takes a team to the playoffs, there’s some surprise that he never came back. You know, Johnny Manziel, he’s out there.”

“Back to Kaepernick, he got beat out by [Blaine] Gabbert to start the [2016] season,” Gruden added at the time. “I think that says something. [But] I am surprised he’s not in camp with somebody. He probably will be soon.”

Why Gruden Resigned

Jon Gruden announced his resignation as coach for The Raiders last week.

“I have resigned as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. I love the Raiders and do not want to be a distraction,” he said, according to Sports Illustrated. ” Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff, and fans of Raider Nation. I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone.”

This came after emails showed that Gruden had referred to the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell as a “clueless anti football p—y” as well as a “f—-t.”

For now, Kaepernick continues to be portrayed as a martyr of sorts by the leftist media, which has long claimed that he has not been signed by another NFL team in five years because of racism.

While unemployed by the NFL, Kaepernick has made millions from shaming our country and dividing us even further along racial lines by signing lucrative deals with brands like Nike, Ben & Jerry’s, and Netflix.

Is anyone surprised that someone like Gruden would take the fall in the same world where Kaepernick continues to get a pass for his anti-America ways?
