Grease 2 (1982)
The fans of Grease 2 will fight to the death to defend this movie. This sequel came years after the original and only Didi Conn returns to reprise her role as Frenchy. Grease 2 might be so beloved because it reverses the message of the original.
The movie takes place in 1961 where Stephanie Zinone (Michelle Pfeiffer) is the head of the Pink Ladies. She meets Michael Carrington (Maxwell Caulfield) who is a clean-cut British exchange student. The Pink Ladies are not allowed to date guys who aren’t T-Birds, this pair has to figure out how to bend the rules. At least our leading lady doesn’t have to completely change herself to get love and respect.
