Rafael Fiziev came into UFC St. Petersburg with a ton of hype, but Magomed Mustafaev needed less than two minutes to defeat the heralded striker and prospect.
Moments into the bout, Mustafaev cracked Fiziev with a spinning kick to the head, but the latter managed to block most of it and recovered. Not long after, however, Mustafaev floored Fiziev with the same technique. After landing a couple more punches from above, the fight was done.
It was a huge win for Mustafaev, as he hadn’t fought since 2016 prior to today. With the victory, Mustafaev’s record moved to 14-2. Fiziev’s now stands at 6-1.
