According to multiple reports, Kid Yamamoto has passed away after a battle with cancer.

Yamamoto announced earlier this year that he was diagnosed with cancer.
His last MMA bout was at UFC 184 when he fought Roman Salazar to a no-contest. His last win came in 2010 vs. Federico Lopez at Dream 14 via knockout.
Yamamoto and his ex-wife had two sons and a daughter together.
The 41-year-old began his career in 2001 and captured the K-1 Hero 2005 Middleweight Grand Prix Tournament title. He was also a standout wrestler in high school in Arizona.
