No matter the why, there is no doubt the intensity given by Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 248’s faceoffs has helped generate interest in Saturday night.

The former champion will try to dethrone Zhang Weili in the co-main event from Las Vegas.

During Thursday’s intense interaction between champion and challenger, Jedrzejczyk got right in the face of Weili. UFC president Dana White was forced to separate the two on stage.

However, even after doing so, Joanna continued to trash talk Weili. Eventually, both sides walked off stage, but the fire had been set for more to come.

Jedrzejczyk proclaimed her “fired up approach” was caused by Weili disrespecting her fans during open workouts. The champion was caught flipping off those fans by MMAjunkie.

However, a representative for Weili says her reaction was because she was being taunted with calls of corona virus. She was forced to leave her home early to avoid the disease.
