The PFL has signed Aspen Ladd to a multi-year contract with her joining the 2023 regular season.
Ladd, a former UFC fighter, will be part of the 2023 regular season to chase after $1 million.
After a stellar amateur career, the Pioneer, California native Ladd, who trains out of MMAGold, signed with Invicta FC before making her UFC debut in 2017. She went on to secure back-to-back bonuses against Tonya Evinger and Sijara Eubanks. She is 9-3 overall in her career.
“The Professional Fighters League continues to grow its global talent roster by seeking the best talent from around the globe,” said President of Fighter Operations, Ray Sefo. “We are excited to welcome Aspen to the PFL’s women’s division. Aspen will continue the PFL mission of bringing women’s MMA to the forefront of our sport.”
PFL is the first and only MMA league with a true sports-season format where elite fighters from around the world compete in a Regular Season, Playoffs and Championship. The four competitors in each division who earn the most points in the Regular Season advance to the win-or-go-home Playoffs, followed by the biggest night in MMA – the PFL World Championship – with each winner going home with the $1 million prize.
“I want to thank the Professional Fighters League for giving me the opportunity to continue my career in the PFL SmartCage,” said Ladd. “I am excited about the PFL’s sport season format where you win and advance based on talent and merit. I look forward to testing myself against the best women in the world.”
