Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is on the move.
No, “Bones” isn’t leaving the UFC. Instead, he is seeking a new team.
Jones, who was asked to leave the JacksonWink MMA gym earlier this year, is looking for new training partners and coaches.
“I don’t feel like I carried the team,” Jones wrote on social media. “We have lots of guys doing amazing things out of that gym. I will admit the program isn’t at the level it used to be, and hasn’t been for a while now.”

Jones added that “definitely won’t be going back but I will continue to root for all the fighters that are training there.
“I do believe my training methods and sessions have improved significantly since changing environments,” he said. “Grateful for all the time I got to spend there, everything has its time.”
If you follow Jones, he shows plenty of videos of himself working out at home.
“I know I won’t be able to train my my garage forever, eventually I’m going to need more training partners,” he said. “Mainly wrestling partners and kickboxers. I’m on the lookout for teams that I’ll be able to visit and come train with, maybe get some sparring sessions in.”

He also gave some props to his brother, Chandler Jones. Jones set the Arizona record for career sacks.
What a coincidence, my little brother is the goat for his organization too!! How cool! pic.twitter.com/vGMKfIQL9m
