Megan Anderson scored a TKO victory over Cat Zingano and Ryan Hall became the first MMA fighter to submit BJ Penn in early action at UFC 232 Saturday night.
Anderson earned her finish after delivering a head-kick to Zingano that missed. However, her toe struck the former title contender in the eye and forced her to turn away from the action.
The referee immediately stepped in and the bout was called in favor of the former Invicta FC champion.
Hall kicked off the final FOX Sports 1 prelims with a first round submission of Penn, locking in a heel hook.
