The June 13th episode of Monday Night Raw set the stage for Money In The Bank. The show featured quite a bit of wrestling and a very-WWE style posedown. While everyone else is doing a broad overview/review of the show, we like to drill down to particular segments and pull out some extra info.
Here are a few of the tiny details you probably missed.
The Miz’s MITB History
There might not be a more shining example of the power of the Money in the Bank briefcase than The Miz. During the opening MizTV, the A-Lister spoke with Paul Heyman about how someone could sneak up on a weak Roman Reigns, cash in, and sneak off with the WWE Undisputed Title.
“No matter what the percentage has been in the past … when the champion is @WWERomanReigns, that percentage goes down to ZERO!” – @HeymanHustle#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/j8iktqZ27l

The Miz cashed in 2010 against an injured and exhausted Randy Orton.
This win led The Miz to an improbably main event of WrestleMania XXVII, where he defeated John Cena with the help of The Rock.
Seth “Franklin” Rollins already booked his ticket, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see The Miz, Damien Priest, Finn Balor, and Ciampa in the match.
Bobby Lashley’s Posedown.
Raw ended with Lashley and Austin Theory doing a good ol’ fashioned posedown.
We’re really getting a pose down? ? we haven’t seen that since @TripleH and Scott Steiner #wweraw pic.twitter.com/WJXNazBfUZ

WWE is no stranger to posedowns, with the most famous being Triple H posing off against Scott Steiner.

Lashley himself has posed in a lot of his feuds.

Crews wants a match, non-title, of course. Rush says if he can beat Lashley in a pose-off. Crews says he doesn’t know how to pose, Rush says based on Crews’ track record, he doesn’t know how to be a champion either. #Raw pic.twitter.com/GaXA6zKEcH

Theory himself was a successful amateur bodybuilder in Georgia before turning to wrestle full-time.
Throwback to the time I competed and won the 2015 NPC Teen bodybuilding Georgia overall title. One of the hardest mental and physical things ive ever been involved in. #theoryscoming. #bodybuilding pic.twitter.com/BHHkeTA9E9

Theory is definitely jacked, but he’s no match for Lashley.
I know a vocal minority of fans don’t like the physique aspect of WWE. But if you want to be a big captivating star, you need to look the part. Going back to Bruno Sammartino, being jacked and fit has always been a hallmark of WWE champions.
