Has everyone else been really enjoying RAW recently? The storylines, new faces, and WRASSLIN! Monday Night Raw had everything you want.

Here are a few details you probably missed.

Is Trish Stratus Coming Back?

The evening kicked off with YYZ native Trish Stratus warming up the home crowd. The giver of Stratusfaction was quickly confronted by Bayley and her cohort. The exchange got testy, and Stratus heavily implied she would be willing to retire to face Bayley.

Now, does that mean she is coming back? No. But it certainly is planting the seeds for a match-up of the two. Trish did talk Bayley into her first match back against SmackDown’s Aliyah.

On an unrelated note. Bayley has to be stopped. These pants are a war crime.

Iyo Ske & Asuka’s Reunion

The women’s tag match of Asuka & Alexa Bliss vs. Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai was my favorite match of the night.

The match was a fun homage to Joshi-style Japanese wrestling and served as a reunion of Sky & Asuka.

The two were big fixtures on the Japanese women’s circuit and faced off with and against each other several times.

Dexter Lumis

We got our first easter egg of the night after the Bayley-Trish backstage segment. Adam Pearce and some security lackies were seen holding a picture of Lumis, apparently looking for him backstage.

Then we saw something smoking, like it was on fire and just put out.

Pearce investigated along with two fully dressed SWAT team members.

I love how the commentary team does not mention the Lumis situation. In the Vince era, this would be spoon-fed to the audience.

While it seemed to me that Lumis was targeting AJ Styles. It turns out we were looking at the wrong Superstar the whole time.

The Miz has been MIZNAPPED! Also, did you notice how they had the covered SWAT team members throughout the night? Planting the idea in the audiences’ head that they were supposed to be there. It set up the Lumis appearance like a horror movie.

JOHNNY WRESTLING IS BACK!!!!!!

I never thought I’d see the day!

We missed you too, Johnny.
Triple H is really bringing back all of his NXT favorites.

The Gargano family was excited.

Someone who didn’t miss Gargano was the man who retired him from NXT, Grayson Waller.

Johnny explained his return.

Overall what a fun Raw. The Triple H high continues to run as the new life breathed into WWE has everyone buzzing. Will they be able to keep this momentum going?

Hunter’s Conspiracy Corner

All of these returns got me thinking…Did Triple H tell Lumis, Gargano, Kai, and Kross to lay low until Vince was out? There are a few people who believe, without evidence, that Triple H and Stephanie masterminded the Vince McMahon investigation and revelation. The two of them certainly had the most to gain from his downfall.
