A Commissioner and CEO for the XFL has been announced. Former NFL and NCAA executive and quarterback Oliver Luck will be the Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the XFL. The planned rebirth of the once-failed football league was confirmed earlier this year and is set to begin in 2020.

Many see the plan to have the XFL try again as a direct response to the fan disillusionment towards the NFL’s current product. The long drawn out controversy of kneeling during the anthem, started by Colin Kaepernick, the political undertones of much of the advertising and even the commentating, have left many fans with bad tastes in their mouths.
The XFL also posted some amusing cartoons earlier this year to suggest that even the rules of its game will be a little simpler and more sensible.

Mojo Rawley took to Twitter to say that he’s been on a tear on WWE’s Main Event ever since giving Seth Rollins a run for his Intercontinental Title on Raw recently.
Mojo suggests he’s building up steam and you can see the tweet below:

Mojo made a heel turn a little while back but has sort of drifted in and out of the limelight, never really being given any consistent opportunities. He’s a big athletic guy who appears to play a heel fairly well. A little bit of practice on a smaller show like Main Event is just what he needs and we’ll see where he can take it going forward.
