AEW Full Gear Buy In
Saturday night saw All Elite Wrestling (AEW) return to pay per view with Full Gear. It was another solid showing from the new company and here are some highlights.
Before the show, the Buy In featured Britt Baker getting the better of Bea Priestley. These two have been feuding since All Out and apparently Baker was battling the flue at the same time.
Beat the bitch. ✅
Now time to beat the flu. ?

Speaking of the By In, Taz worked the commentary table. A few weeks back, Taz also worked the desk for some dark matches, but there is no word on his status with AEW.
I would honestly prefer Taz over Jim Ross. #AEW #AEWFullGear

Cody Rhodes did suffer a nasty cut after landing awkwardly on the ramp. To make matter worse, MJF cost Cody the AEW Championship and then turned heel on his friend with a low blow.

In the main event, Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley finally met after almost six months of build-up. Their Lights Out Match was brutal and both will be feeling the effects for the next for weeks. Moxley’s wife, WWE’s Renee Young, took to Twitter to address her concern for the level of brutality.

AEW In Talks With Madison Square Garden
After the show, AEW President Tony Khan spoke to the media. He mentioned how AEW’s Big Four pay pay per views will include Double Or Nothing, All Out, Full Gear and the next show; which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020. No name or location was provided. Plus, Khan said he spoke with officials at Madison Square Garden about holding an event there in the future.
“For me, I would love to go to New York and MSG is obviously a great building,” said Khan. “But, there are a lot of good buildings in New York.”
