Post Malone dropped details for what is widely presumed to be a country album in spectacular fashion Tuesday.
He used a massive billboard in Nashville, Tennessee for the announcement of the name of his sixth studio album.
The upcoming effort, titled F-1 Trillion, is set to be released on August 16th.
The news comes as Malone’s collaboration with country star Morgan Wallen “I Had Some Help” currently sits atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart where it has been perched for five weeks now.

Post Malone’s New Country Fascination
The announcement of a likely country album comes as Post Malone has repeatedly dabbled in the genre with other stars.
In fact, the night before he announced a release date for F-1 Trillion, the “Chemical” singer was performing at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe with the likes of Lainey Wilson.
Malone confirmed he was dipping into the country waters during a Twitch livestream at the Country Music Awards.
“Country record is coming. I keep singing a song that we made while I was in Nashville. It’s so … sick, but it’s not out,” he said at the time.
In recent months, the singer has been covering some country hits and paid tribute to late country icon Toby Keith.

That Country Itch
Man, it seems like everybody nowadays is trying to get into the country scene. And it’s turning out to be very lucrative for some.
Beyoncé earlier this year made history with her latest album release, the country music-inspired Cowboy Carter.
The album hit number one on the Billboard Top Country Album chart and the Billboard 200 for music overall right out of the gate.
Beyoncé’s album included a cover of Dolly Parton’s hit song “Jolene” which the legendary country singer simply adores.
Parton called the cover “bold”, and loved the “sassy” new lyrics.
Will Post Malone’s country album be just as ‘sassy’?
