Earlier this month, we reported that Ozzy Osbourne and his family criticized Britney Spears for her “sad” dance moves. Britney then fired back by ripping into the Osbourne family, calling them “boring.”
Ozzy has since attempted to bury the hatchet and apologize to Britney, but it didn’t take long for his apology to go off the rails.
Ozzy Botches Apology To Britney
On Tuesday’s episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, the family made a slight attempt to apologize to Britney.
“Sorry, Britney – we still think you rock!” Ozzy, 75, wrote in the caption alongside a clip from the podcast on Instagram.
“Can we apologize to Britney Spears?” Ozzy’s daughter Kelly, 39, began in the clip.
“Britney, I really owe you an apology,” Ozzy replied. “I’m so sorry for making that comment.”

Apology Goes Off The Rails
That’s where the positivity ended, as Ozzy proceeded to double down on what he had said before.
“However, it would be better if you didn’t do the same […] dance every day,” he said. “Change a few movements.”
Ozzy’s 38 year-old son Jack burst out laughing at this. Realizing the inevitable backlash that they’d get, however, Kelly looked mortified.
“Alright, I was gonna say, ‘Britney, never stop dancing, I love your dancing,” she said. “It makes you happy, and I am so sorry if any of us offended you.”
Ozzy’s wife Sharon, 71, also looked uncomfortable with her husband’s botched apology.
“Listen, I like Britney,” she said. Ozzy then interrupted her to say, “I love Britney Spears! But it’s the same dance every day.”
“No. Sometimes she has knives,” Kelly replied, causing Jack to laugh again.
“I really do apologize. I love you, and I think you’re beautiful,” Ozzy continued, trying to get the apology back on track.
“But mix it up,” Jack interjected, unable to hold back any longer.

Feud Between Osbournes And Britney
This all started earlier this month, when Ozzy criticized Britney for constantly posting videos of herself dancing while wearing very little clothing on Instagram. Sharon responded by describing Britney as a “poor little thing,” adding that her situation is “heartbreaking” and “very sad indeed.”
Jack agreed that Britney’s life is “very, very sad,” while Kelly added, “I feel so sorry for her.”
Let’s just say Britney didn’t take this well. She soon fired back at the Osbourne family on her own Instagram account.
In her rambling post, Britney claimed that she “hardly ever” dances.
“I know what it’s like to be judged,” Britney added. “But I think it’s important to help each other and invite each other to places that help our souls grow !!!”
At the time of this writing, Britney appears to have deleted her Instagram page. However, in the past few years, she has indeed become known to post bizarre dancing videos online.
The Osbourne family is clearly on Britney’s radar at the moment. They shouldn’t be surprised if she soon fires back at them once again after their botched apology.
