The world-famous singer Frankie Valli, 90, has broken his silence through his rep to address concerns about his health. This comes after a video went viral in which he appeared to struggle just to lip-sync during a concert.
Fears For Valli’s Health
A video was viewed over 4.1 million times showing Valli at his August 3 gig at the Mountain Winery in the San Jose suburb of Saratoga. There, he appeared to look frail as he had trouble climbing a short flight of stairs to the stage. Valli gripped a guardrail as he did so, pausing at one point to address the audience.
Once Valli began his set, he appeared to be lip-syncing to his 1978 hit “Grease,” which is from the famous movie of the same name. However, Valli appeared to be struggling to even mouth the words.
As the song continued, Valli snapped his fingers slowly as he held the mic somewhat unsteadily while he was flanked by backup singers.

Valli Claims He’s Fine – Fans Aren’t Buying It
This video has led to major concerns about Valli’s health. The singer’s rep, however, claims that there is nothing to worry about.
“Frankie is doing just fine and super happy to still be performing,” the rep told The New York Post. “The audiences are filling venues and listening to some great music.”
“Frankie is doing what he loves to do at 90,” the rep added. “We should all be so lucky.”
Really, is there any arguing with that?
Valli’s fans, however, don’t seem to be buying it.
“Who is doing this to Frankie Valli?” one person wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “This is hard to watch.”
“This video of a 90-year-old Frankie Valli struggling to even lip-synch to his old music is hard to watch,” another fan posted. “Let the man retire.”
“Frankie Valli is such a king,” a third person wrote. “We need to protect him for as long as we can. His dedication after all these years is incredible.”

Valli’s Farewell Tour
Valli and the Four Seasons are currently on a farewell tour known as “The Last Encore.” The tour is scheduled to continue until April of 2025.
Valli announced this tour in October of last year.
“I am eternally grateful for the love and support of our fans throughout the decades,” he said in a statement. “I always loved touring and can’t wait to see the fans.”
The original Jersey boy, Valli has been a legendary performer for over 60 years. His biggest hits include “Sherry,” “Walk Like a Man,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” Vali’s songs have also been used in movies like Grease, The Deer Hunter, Dirty Dancing, Mrs. Doubtfire, Conspiracy Theory, The Wanderers, and more.
The Broadway musical Jersey Boys, which is based on Valli’s life, is the 12th longest-running show on Broadway. It has been seen by over 30 million people.
Valli is a true living legend, and there will never be another one like him. Despite what he said, the above video certainly is disturbing. Please join us in saying a prayer for Vali’s good health moving forward!
